Six Reasons We Have to Carry Our Crosses
"If anyone desires to come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me" (Matthew 16:24).
Why did Jesus say this? It is because He knows all of the benefits that can come from this & He doesn’t want us to miss out on them.
In this course you will learn much about why an all-loving, all-powerful God would allow his children to suffer. By the end of this 3-part series you will begin to understand Catholic teaching about this, see suffering in a new way, find peace in the midst of it, and be able to defend it from scripture.
The Three Sessions Include:

Session One
Introduction
1st Reason: Our crosses have the potential to increase the flow of Grace in the world.
2nd Reason: Our crosses benefit others when we offer our sufferings up as a prayer of intercession for them. When I say “benefit” others, I mean they can save them from eternal damnation – from hell.

Session Two
3rd Reason: Our crosses are meant to increase our Faith, Hope & Charity and to heal the Temporal Consequences of our Sins.

Session Three
4th Reason: Our crosses can be offered as Indulgences for the holy souls in purgatory. This greatly increases the value of our offering!
5th Reason: Our crosses are used by God to unleash love in the human person and in the world
6th Reason: Each cross that we bear through, with and in Christ increases the degree of His glory that we will participate in - in heaven.
