  • Gift Basket Raffle & Silent Auction

There is no charge for the evening, but one of the purposes of Advent by Candlelight is to raise money for Adult Faith Formation at Holy Trinity. The funds raised are used to pay for events such as this, to bring in other renowned speakers throughout the year, and also for supplies and scholarships. We do this through a Gift Basket Raffle & Silent Auction.

All raffle and auction items will be displayed on Holy Trinity’s website beginning November 12.

There are 70+ baskets and other items included in the raffle and auction. The cost for raffle tickets is: 2 for $5, 5 for $10, 12 for $20, 18 for $30, 25 for $40, 32 for $50, 50 for $75 or 70 for $100.

Tickets can be purchased online beginning November 12 until midnight on Thursday, December 1. Tickets may be purchased in person during Advent by Candlelight. Winning tickets will be drawn at 8:45 PM. Winners not present will be notified the following week.

  • Hosts & Hostesses

A host/hostess is a person who reserves a table for 8-12 people and agrees to decorate it with a table cloth and anything from paper plates to the finest china.

Each table will be assigned a Marian devotion table name and a table number. We will give each hostess a packet that includes a 5 X 7 image of Our Lady as she appears in that devotion to display on the table.

Hostesses usually invite friends and family as guests to sit at their table. Each guest brings an appetizer to share with the other guests at the table.

There will be a total of 51 tables available and are assigned on a first come/first serve basis.

Hostesses make this evening so special because of the love, hospitality and service they offer to the guests at their table. Press the black button below to read the entire hostess guidelines and/or to reserve a table.

  • Register for this Event

Press the gold button below and you will be taken to a registration form for this event. It is not necessary to have been invited by one of our hostesses to attend. Several of our hostesses leave room at their tables for people who register here. We always find a place for each person that registers.
