The Saints & the Eucharist
Description: The greatest gift God could ever give is Himself for the life of the world. And God did in the Eucharist. Eucharistic devotions (i.e. Holy Communion, Adoration) are what drove the saints in holiness. Yes, better than anyone, the saints understood the power of the Eucharist. And we should too.
Question: Have I taken the Eucharist for granted in my life? How can I better worship and adore Jesus in the Eucharist in my everyday life?

Daily Prayer:
Thank you, Dear Jesus, for all You have given me, for all You have taken from me, and for all You have left me.
Thank You for helping me to carry my cross each day, especially in the difficult times, which You do everyday, in every way. Amen.
St. Francis de Sales
"Do not look forward to the trials and crosses of this life with dread and fear. Rather, look to them with full confidence that, as they arise, God, to whom you belong, will deliver you from them.
He has guided and guarded you thus far in life. Hold fast to His dear hand, and He will lead you safely through all trials. Whenever you cannot stand, He will carry you lovingly in His arms.
Do not look forward to what may happen tomorrow. The same Eternal Father, Who cares for you today, will take good care of you tomorrow and every day of your life. Either He will shield you from suffering, or He will give you the unfailing strength to bear it.
Be at peace then and put aside all useless thoughts, all vain dreads and all anxious imaginations."
